The Italian Language Boss is an education company built around one simple goal: helping people actually speak Italian.
It combines serious language education with the way Italian is really spoken — through courses, live learning, technology and content designed to make Italian clear, practical and engaging.
The company was founded by Alessandro Mazzafoglia and Elizaveta Moskvicheva, both language learners themselves. Their experience learning languages abroad shapes the way the company approaches teaching — not only from the teacher's side, but from the student's.

Alessandro Mazzafoglia
Founder, The Italian Language Boss
Alessandro Mazzafoglia was born and raised in Sardinia. He studied Italian literature and philosophy at the University of Sassari, then spent time abroad — including Germany and Russia — teaching Italian privately.
Back in Sardinia, he began posting his lessons online — short, direct videos built around real communication rather than textbook grammar. The format found an audience fast.
That format became the Boss Method — academic rigor combined with real entertainment, now behind every course, live session and program under The Italian Language Boss. He’s since trained other language teachers directly, including a session for the professors of Dante Alighieri’s Campus L’Infinito. Read about the method

Co-Founder, The Italian Language Boss
Elizaveta Moskvicheva is co-founder of The Italian Language Boss and plays a central role in the direction and day-to-day operation of the company.
She holds a degree in linguistics and is a polyglot in her own right. She has lived in England, Germany and Italy, among other countries, picking up several languages along the way — including Italian, which she learned as an adult.
She works alongside Alessandro across strategy, operations, organization and company development. While Alessandro leads the teaching and educational direction of the brand, Elizaveta oversees a large part of the operational and managerial side of the company.
International Collaboration
Filitalia International
Filitalia International is a non-profit organization based in Philadelphia, founded in 1987 to promote, honor and preserve Italian language, culture and heritage around the world.
The Italian Language Boss has collaborated with Filitalia on Italian-language educational initiatives, including a live program for international learners and members of Italian-American communities.
