This program helps you turn the Italian you already know into more active, usable Italian.

Repetition & memory
Repetition is not going backwards. It's how the language sticks.
Structures return in different contexts and combinations so the learner can strengthen memory, increase control and progressively automate their use.
Feedback & correction
We don't correct everything. We correct what matters.
The Boss can use prompts, repetition, reformulation, association and guided self-correction before giving a direct answer when appropriate.
Working with time
A focused area of A2.1: moving between past, present and future. The exercises become progressively more varied, helping you maintain control of time relationships while speaking.
Pronouns & sentence structure
Deeper work with direct object pronouns and sentence transformations — full sentence, pronoun substitution, affirmative/negative, changes in tense and further variations. The purpose is practical control and automation, not memorizing isolated rules.

People who already know basic Italian · Can handle simple everyday situations · Have studied A1 but still lack confidence · Can produce simple sentences but struggle to keep speaking · Want more active use of the Italian they already know.
What happens after A2.1?
This page — and the price above — is for A2.1 only, the first of three 12-week programs that make up the full A2 level.
After A2.1, you move on to A2.2, then A2.3 — each is its own 12-week program with its own separate enrollment and payment. Once you've completed all three, you move on to B1.
How do I download Zoom?
Zoom is free to download at zoom.us, or by searching "Zoom" in your phone's app store. You don't need a paid Zoom account — the free version is all you need to join your live classes.
You don't even need to install anything to join: clicking your class's Zoom link opens the option to join directly from your browser.
Not sure this is the right level, or need to change your class?
Your level isn't a commitment. If your class feels too easy or too advanced, The Boss will help move you to where you belong.
If you'd like to change your class day or time, reach out directly and the Boss will do his best to accommodate you, depending on availability.
Missed a class, or having a technical problem?
Missed a class? Reach out and you can get a recording of that session, so you don't fall behind.
Recordings are kept on Zoom's cloud for up to 14 days after the class, then they're automatically deleted — so ask for yours soon after you miss a class.
